Our amazing Board of Directors support MacDonald Training Center in countless ways. They give of their time, treasure and expertise. They connect the mission to the community through their personal and professional networks.
With heavy hearts we share the sad news that Colonel Earnest Eugene Hansley, US Army (Retired), the current President of the MacDonald Parents Group and an outstanding member of the MTC Board of Directors has passed away. Colonel Hansley was an active volunteer and made significant contributions that have greatly impacted our community.
Colonel Hansley was retired from the US Military, completing his service as a senior officer at the US Pentagon.
He earned his doctorate in technology after retiring from active duty. His brilliant mind was matched with a caring and compassionate heart.
Colonel Hansley showed up whenever needed and was equally at home front and center speaking to audiences about our mission at fundraisers or setting up treats for parties. His pride in his daughter who attends MTC’s Sabal Park location was a joy to behold.
He will be greatly missed.
